Coaching is a great way to work with individuals and teams to drive goals and outcomes forward. Our experienced team of coaches have worked in many blue-chip organisations and coached individuals from a variety of levels and functional groups. Coaching is particularly effective in helping specific individuals achieve stretch performance or development goals, which need focused support.
We offer coaching in the following areas:
- Executive Coaching
This will often involve Strategis soliciting feedback from certain individuals on behalf of the senior executive and using this and other information as a catalyst to prioritise development needs. We help executives, with a range of priorities from maintaining their resilience to employee satisfaction challenges to managing key relationships and beyond.
- Coaching for promotion or 'stretch'
This type of coaching can often be beneficial when an individual the organisation thinks highly of has been unsuccessful for a recent internal job application. We can help the individual explore the reasons why, digging deeper into the feedback they have received. We can then help them close the gaps they need to focus on and help them improve their ability to articulate their value in a selection interview. This approach has also been helpful when there are several unsuccessful applicants for a highly coveted role.
- Graduate Coaching
This will often be part of our graduate development programme, as we have been working with the graduates on other initiatives we can often offer them insight into how they are coming across. We will help them work on their personal power and ability to understand different agendas so they can successfully transition into the workplace.
- Career Coaching
This can be relevant to any level within our client organisations. During these sessions we will help provide clarity about underlying work motivations and key strengths and talents. We will help individuals see how they can capitalise on their strengths and manage their weaknesses for a successful career.
- Team Coaching
This will often come about after a team bonding or effectiveness session. As a result we may work on an individual basis with all or some team members focusing on key areas of performance.
